A number of 100g Natco spices (Paprika / Cumin / Turmeric / Curry Powder / Ginger and more) are reduced from 75p to just 50p. To put it in perspective, a 34g jar of Schwatz paprika equates to £4.85 per 100g.
The ridiculous price of the Schwartz spice jars wrecks my head so I always buy my spices in packets of this size or larger. They tend to stay fresh, keeping them in dark sealed jars is best but I just have cupboard full of them and they're fine.

£5/kg is way too much. Can get for much less from Asian stores. Maybe £1.50/kg

Aren't they out of date or dirty if you get them out of the bin?

Compared to usual supermarket big brand spices, this is a good price. Not everybody has Asian stores near them . I have to travel around 12 miles to find my nearest one but there's a Sainsburys within 3.

Yep I have to travel to the curry mile halfway from chester to get to my nearest asian stores..
Take me forever to get through a Kg of some spices anyway..
This is great for topping up your spice box which should have a near as dammit air tight inner lid (not glass though it looks pretty - ages the spices quicker) and a spoon for each spice.. I'll post a deal on a good one later

Best before is only a guide. They still have all their flavour left.

Wow looks brilliant, I'll have to get a big cake tin or something and do that. I used to live close to the Curry Mile, gloriously cheap spices, fruit and veg. Natural yogurts for 20p as well. Living even further north now and spending triple on spices so happy to have the local Sainsburys offer!
