Apart from the latest one (2013), will anyone really play the older ones?
Not saying its a bad deal, but the Steam Store really know how to get people to waste money.
I think the GOTY package is a better deal if you want all those add ons.

You're absolutely correct. After about 1500+ games the lure of the steam store (and the stupidity) finally wore off for me. Now I only buy when i absolutely want to support the game devs. Even then I never buy on steam direct. It's utter idiocy.

Well it depends. I rarely buy these bundles, but having had the Tomb Raider one I played them back to the Angel of darkness, cos that sucked real bad anyway. Anniversary and Underworld are both eminently playable, and still look half decent as well. The Guardian of Light is also a pretty great game and more recent.

Explain to me why this is hot? I bought Tomb Rider 2013 for £4. Why would I pay extra £10 for all the games I'm never going to play (some of which I have already played)?

...because everybody else that voted positively is not you.

If the price of the eleven is less than the two I may wish to play, then I would buy the bundle. I may also buy the bundle if I wished to try the remaining nine titles, or feel I may play them, or I know somebody else that could benefit from a "gift" (should the individual titles be available to associate with different Steam accounts on an individual basis).
However, if a bundle of multiple titles only included some I would play, & buying those separately would be cheaper than the entire bundle, I would just buy what I wanted.
This is also true for other items for sale; not necessarily those available at SteamPowered.com
What about you? Do you spend more than you need to in order to gain items you do not want?

Or is that most people love the feeling of bagging a good deal regardless of whether they actually need what they bought.
It's great to get 11 games never mind you're only going to play two of them at best;)

Rise of the tomb raider is superb on PC I may play the 2013 game but that's it.
