As opposed to sour. Keep one eye of the carbon footprint of out of season Imported fruit.

They have just reduced the size to make it appear a good deal. Any of the other deals on here for larger packs like Asda or Iceland, Morrisons are cheaper per gram.

They are better quality in lidl than the used to be. Bought some in Iceland a few weeks back to try and they were inedible and mushy. best quality taste value are waitrose essentials 100% of the time good quality.

Their nuts are quite cheap too.
Unfortunately, lidl's a false economy as far as I'm concerned. I thought I'd give them a go the other day, so popped in the local branch, and bought a few bits of fruit n veg. Nearly all rotten (tomatoes, peppers, oranges) within a couple of days, and the ones which weren't rotten, weren't particularly tasty. It may be a one off, but its back to Marks/Waitrose for me, as you clearly get what you pay for.

Since you select nearly all Lidl fruit yourself, perhaps you should brush up on your fruit selection skills.

If it wasn't already packed (peppers) and the fruit wasn't tasteless, that might be an option. Lidls just not for me I guess!
