Many thought Bubsy was lost to a legacy of shame obscurity after his cat-astrophic venture into 3-D, but he’s been given a new shot at video-game stardom with his first release of this meowllenium: Bubsy Two-Fur!
Bubsy Two-Fur is the authorized digital download version of Bubsy’s first two games, and the first official Bubsy release since 1997! Relive the games that started the notorious career of Bubsy Bobcat in their original incarnations, and experience for yourself the cat-titude and purr-sonality of the first gaming mascot to have a digitized (and unforgettable) voice, one whose words still resound in the minds of all who played his games: “What could paw-sibly go wrong?”

Floaty uncontrollable jumping, poor collision detection, zero time to react to off-screen enemies, jerky headache inducing screen scrolling, instant deaths...
But, man, did I love this game!

I did too. I always thought it was underrated at the time as most mags of the day panned it but I quite liked both of the 2D Bubsys, they were no Sonic but were colourful respectable platformers and he was a decent character....
Think they are stretching the truth a bit talking about this as a new game, it is afterall just a repackage of the two old games but they are so old now, I guess to many it will be like a new game, though I would have liked to see a genuinely new 2D (one 3D game was more than enough) Bubsy adventure.....

I remember one mag's review (Super Play) opened up with something along the lines of ... Bubsy The Bobcat, you stands accused of being a bog-standard platformer with little to recommend you. How do you plead? Poor Bubsy didn't stand much chance!

Surprised this hasn't gone cold because apparently Greenmangaming are "the best of the non-legit sellers". Actually nothing surprises me on this site anymore. :smirk:
