of course they do, they got you to buy their over priced phone didn't they, means you have plenty of money and can afford £2.29.

This app is beautiful but it absolutely kills the battery on my LG G4 with Android 6.0.
The battery gets really warm when using it.
Has anyone else noticed similar?

Having got it, ok yes it is very cheap, but it doesn't seem to automatically revolve to match compass points. Which to me is the most important feature of any sky map

I'm still playing FIFA 95 for that exact reason.

I bought the first version ages ago. I don't see the need to spend another 10p, when they could have added to version 1 :stuck_out_tongue:

The app needs to be updated for changing events like ISS, new finds, even just bug fixes and OS updates.

It's not that things here have actually changed it's just we've got better at detecting them, besides the hundreds of new exoplanets, there is a new planet sized object locally....and it is apparently included in Star Walk 2

Well, it's been updated within the past 4 years.

I see the app is 10p, and then in-app purchases range from "£0.50 - £2.12 per item". Anybody able to say what it is that users have to pay in-app to unlock?
I had the same question. That app is now just called Sky Map (Google open-sourced it) and (as some have noted) it's not had much attention from its devs recently.

Much difference over the free offerings? I'm being careful with my Google credit, I only have about £25 left :smirk:

Yes really. I wouldn't mind paying more for no ads! Looks like you've got to pay more for comets anyway.
Their website is cr**, it says virtually nothing!
It's amazing how ads have somehow become ok in Android, whereas in the pc world they're regarded almost in the same category as viruses!

Bought and heated :-)
I think any 10p deal gets heat nowadays.
How do you guys know about these deals and is there a list of 10p apps somewhere?

These deals come and go, they don't remain at 10p. Some previously 'paid for' apps are permanently reduced to typically 59p or become free. Check out HungryforApps for reduced and free apps, then search for the app in the Play Store or iTunes and see if it is reduced or free there. Most of the time it is and you can pick the app directly from the Play/iTunes store.

don't forget Amazon underground apps, lots free on there and charged on playstore.
