The game's gotten a lot better since the launch but it's a shame that neither the Wiimote + Nunchuk or Wii U Pro Controller are usable online. I mean, one could argue it'd be "hard" to jump without tapping on a screen but pressing two buttons at the same time and then scrolling to the best position would still work.
Btw, has Nintendo added the map to the TV screen now? I'm guessing not. Almost finished with Kirby: Rainbow Paintbrush so will give Splatoon a try once I'm done with KRP.
