The Sony Xperia tablets are among the best available. Sony's 10.1" range win awards every year with this model being voted the best tablet 2014/15.
I have a first release Z Xperia which I rate highly.
10.1” Full HD Display with Live Colour LED
Ultra slim and light – 6.4 mm and less than 440 gram
Waterproof** and dust resistant (IP55 & IP58)
LTE & Qualcomm Snapdragon™ 800 quad-core
The Sony eShop are selling at half price SIM free in either black or white. Currently £350 on Amazon.

HEAT-O-THE-DAY!
This should fly away at this price.. 2nd best [after the tab s] tablet screen on the market in this range..
I have been tinkering with the idea of toe-dipping into the world of Android. Is there a ROM update available to Banana Whipped Ice Cream Double Layered Chocolate Blancmange, or wherever its at now?

If only google had the foresight to actually call it something like that Steve!!
Still cannot believe for Android 6 [marshmallow] they did not go with Andorid Mushroom and get the biggest PR splash / partner deal with Mario & his Nintendo cartoon buddies.. but that's a discussion for another day!
Anyway, yes, this has the current 5.1 Lollipop update, via the links above, would suggest to anyone that buys
one [which most will at this price!] to *immediately* update via the sony software a hard update, not an OTA one
via wifi..
Other than the Sony Z4 [2+ times the price] and the Samsung Tab S [not S2] this is the best out there..

Me too Kev ;-(
However, we can make up for the loss of it, by circumnavigating the Sony app completely ;-)
