Why would anyone buy headphones for less then £20-30? As much as I love Sony and I have a pair from them, but sound quality must be shocking

Picked up a pair of these today at £3.50.
Nice headphones at this price and a handy 2 metre cord.

Late in the day, obvs. Just FYI I have had a pair of these for about 5 years that I got off Amazon for 10-15 quid and they are really good lightweight DJ phones for that money, and they still cost the same on that site even now! Very good sound, loud, probably not great isolation but a banging set of phones for the money.
