this might get 1000° for a cheap phone, which this is nothing new but its useless.
you hardly can hear the person on line , no speaker to make the call louder so your stuck.
I wouldn't buy it as a spare

I head somewhere that at least one of the land line phones in your home should or was it must be corded as they will still work in a power cut when a cordless/dect phone wont. If i needed a new corded phone i wouldn't buy this as my main phone but for the price i'd certainly have one as an emergency phone
