Overview
We understand your appreciation for high quality and your cat’s desire for variety. We see every meal as a daily creation – it is the attention to detail that matters. SHEBA has been the stuff of legends since its global launch in Hamburg in 1982. The brand carries the name of the legendary Queen of Sheba, who is thought to have arrived in the 10th century BC at the court of Solomon in Jerusalem to test his wisdom. SHEBA has always been in a league of its own – there has never been and still isn't a comparable cat food. SHEBA has never been a brand for just anybody. Rather a distinguished brand for only those who have a strong inner connection with their cat. What appears to many as an exaggeration, or even a form of decadence, is simply the fulfilment of a desire of the heart: finally there's a cat food with which one can indulge their beloved on a daily basis.

I bought three packs the other day with Prime as three flavours were £16 and one was only £10. After i had ordered i went back to the page to copy the link and post on here and it had gone back up to £23ish, was strange. Still at least everyone can get it now. heat

Low quality food (that's the polite translation), high in sugar, according to my girlfriend vet. "Like feeding them McDonald's everyday" apparently!

Yes this is true. However, having tried my cats on the expensive high quality cat food which they will not touch, I would rather spend my money on something they will eat.

this stuff? are you sure? Whiskas, felix and the like I'd agree with but I put sheba along with purina/applaws etc as a better quality, low sugar food.

Well that's odd because Sheba states "no added sugar" so all that's in it is the naturally occurring sugar... and that will be a very small amount.
Does your girlfriend also happen to think feeding them high quantities of the meat we'd eat (boiled chicken breast, fish etc) is better for them than tinned cat food? Because by doing that the cat will be will starved of almost all of the essential vitamins and minerals they'd normally get eating animals in the wild - essential things that's added to cat food. Lots of people tend to think they are doing the best for their cat by feeding them 100% meat, but in actuality, it's raising the risk of health problems in later life.

"Meat and Animal Derivatives, Fish and Fish Derivatives (including 4% Cod), Minerals" - This brand should be ok for sugars/added sugar.
