Yes, been that price for ages. Also bought some Tiori Brand Rice recently at Asda for 50p as my local Sainsburys sometimes sells out at that price.

did not know sainsburys sold their own brand micro rice. tried the tilda microrice and it is quite good with spices and that, however the rice sticks together so one has to separate them. :smiley:

It has been 50p for ages, Lidl sell micro rice for 49p. When you consider leading brand ones £1+ (on offer) - £1.70, the cheapy ones compare very well.

Used to be a quid but they then dropped to about 75p to 80p when the brands began dropping their prices.
