It looks like another price drop from OcUK for the R9 Nano and now it comes with a free copy of the latest Hitman game too!!
It also comes with a copy of Star Wars but supposedly there are only a few dozen cards available at the price - was not made clear on the website!!
Sorry!!

Huge overkill for a kodi setup. Onboard gfx would be sufficient.

This Kodi thing is bordering a meme now :stuck_out_tongue:

You do not need a card 80% as powerful as a 980ti for Kodi!!

I'd urge EVERYONE to WAIT before buying a new GPU unless you need one urgently. Both the Polaris and Pascal GPUs are well on their way. Expect announcements soon, if neither AMD or NVidia have a new GPU launching alongside the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive headsets I'll be VERY surprised (and if not you'll see some employees quite rightly picking up their P45s).
Both Polaris and Pascal are believed to be using either HBM2 or at the very worst (for their laptop chips I suspect) GDDR5X. What does this mean..? An increase in VRAM and a substantial increase in memory bandwidth.
Unless you need a card right now and can't wait then wait for a few months. You'll thank me for it later lol

Supposedly also comes with Star Wars but is limited to a few dozen cards at that price! :disappointed:

Great price! I've been eyeing one of these for a Kodi HTPC build. Is Powercolor a chinese brand? Is it reliable?

Its a Taiwanese brand like most of them are and is one of the older AMD partners. Also, all the R9 Nano cards are reference so are the same.

You're getting carried away with this HTPC Kodi thing.
Buy an Android box.

960 is probably the best HTPC GPU for the price.

I have an Amazon Fire Stick, Kodi works fine for £35.

Great price, lowest it's been and might be close to bottom pricing for a card that started out over £500 and has been up at £560.
Don't think it qualifies for the Hitman game though, AMD's site lists
"(i) Radeon™ R9 390 or 390X graphics cards or (ii) 6- or 8-core AMD FX CPU (single part-in-box only, tray and multipacks excluded) or (iii) select System Integrator desktop systems containing a Radeon™ R9 390/390X graphics card or 6- or 8-core AMD FX CPU."

It was well overpriced at launch. It's about right now. Good deal.
