Great bargain for all you bakers. Either Plain or Self Raising Flour. 1.5KG bags. 45p each. Plenty of baking and cooking done in our household and there is no difference between "The Pantry" and top brands such as McDougalls or Homepride.
Hope the heat on this deal raises as high as the cakes baked with this flour!
Happy Days!

Can't see the point in buying flour, what do you use it for?

Not such a great deal. Asda and Tesco both sell 1.5kg flour for 45p.
I guess this is a good deal if you enjoy waiting in long queues and having your goods rushed through the till faster than you can pack them in your bags.

their "everyday value" range (Tesco, can't remember Asda equivalent) is 45p. Own label stuff 80p and Homepride £1 for 1k (equiv to £1.50).
Don't know how the Everyday Value compares to Bero/Homepride, etc. in fairness.
I shop at both Tesco and Aldi. I do like Aldi to be honest but you're right - the checkout "experience" leaves a bit to be desired.

Very True . Aldi Staff are superquick in passing items through the till, but loads of queues. don't even give us time to pack things .

Standard price is 45p in LIDL too, so not much of a deal :disappointed:

You're meant to put the items in your trolley and pack at your own pace on the bench at the back. It makes some sense to me as I don't like shopping in Sainsburys or Morrisons now because I sometimes have to stand there and watch someone pack £100 worth of shopping sometimes seemingly into alphabetical order.

Own brand flour is cheap at every supermarket might even be less in tesco or morrisons and again just as good as branded

Was bored at work earlier and I knew somebody would take the time out from their busy schedules to comment on my comment, thanks'. :sunglasses:

I like Aldi but not everything it sells is worth buying. Its sub-50p flour is just one example. I got terrible results from it.
