I just bought the model a step up from this (having stupidly bought a cheap Morphy Richards from Argos that was a complete disaster) for £32.99 on a lightning deal last week, it's bloody marvellous, as far as irons go.

These are fab..had a couple, but like many people I find the short (2m) cord length is a bit of a pain. Heat for price though.

Got this from currys two years ago. Now they don't sell them and I have warranty. But ideally wanted the same item exchanged

Could you go through Philips?
I also got the model up for £32.99, it's fab. Also has a 2.5 metre cord so I'm not sure if all models are having the longer cable now.
