There seem to be SO many of these Panachronics refurbs available at the moment. I read in reviews how they had a habit of turning themselves off for no reason plus a whole host of other problems and glitches. The amount of refurbs available should tell you something.

Not hot at all. People voting hot are the ones that thought the blaupunkts were good value.

I feel for people that don't have lots of money but thinking a shi t TV is good value at this price then save your money as its really not worth even £400

I bought a refurb surround system which was all still wrapped up except for one wire and my TV just came in a brown box but was all still wrapped up. I would definately buy from Panasonic again but not from Argos refurbished as that was terrible.
So what I'm saying is if you buy you take a chance but I would.

It tells you nothing except that Panasonic, like virtually every other electronics brand, sells off overstock in the guise of 'refurbs' via Tesco Direct, Argos outlet and all the rest of them.
It's a basic marketing ploy that allows the same item to be sold at two price levels. Only the most credulous ones amongst us turn their noses up at refurbs (anyway, you can always send them back!) ...
