Every Mum during Mother's Day Weekend, 5th-6th March 2016 gets FREE ENTRY into the park throughout Mother’s Day Weekend; when accompanied by one full paying person (Well it's not much of a gift if she has to go in on her own.....lol).
I hope this is in the correct section... it's kind of a freebie and kind of a deal :o)

If its mother in laws go free as well....then some may want to send them to the one at Matlock (the hills at that place are a killer).

Another sexist offer. Why not men free? What if the man is a single parent eg mother died?
As said, they do a Dad's free as well for Fathers day.
Anyone know if a season pass would count as a full paying adult?
Not sure what the reviews are saying, the one at Warrington is excellent. OK it isn't Disneyland, but it's got plenty of rides, great for little kids.

But it may be convenience. Having a dads' free later does not detract from the fact these are sexist promotions, I would argue they are unlawful. One cannot discriminate on the basis of gender. Gender is a protected characteristic under the equality act.
They cannot even check the "women" is the mother. It could be away one. It is nothing but sexism.
The correct promotion should be one adult free.

They don't check that they're mothers because the day celebrates any motherly figure you want to. It's not sexist, maybe if they didn't offer one for men later in the year but they do! You're just being grumpy and picky get over yourself.

Maybe you should sue them then, see if you are correct. I'd guess lots of promotions would hit some sort of ism so they must have done their legal homework. Anyone who gives a discount for kids or old people or being on benefits must be doing the same, so it seems a rather odd place to decide to take a stand against them.

Last year a few venues agreed to change their promotion to one adult!

Just wondered what would happen with same sex relationships? Hardly likely to let 2 women both get in free on Mother's day and 2 men on fathers day. A couple with a man and a woman would get an adult in free on 2 separate occasions but a same sex couple wouldn't have that opportunity. Potential minefield probably best to do what somebody said earlier to just put 1 adult free.

Loads of rides for kids as someone said....
Great way to show you apprechiate all your mother does give the kids a treat and the mum can stand in the cold and rain or go on a ride...... Thinking better ways to show your appreciation

I posted this deal on the basis of 'happy kids generally means happy mums', and its a family day out. Dunno....
In fairness I did try and balance this whole issue out with the post I did after this; which was the Eden Project deal.... free entry and a free cupcake for mums or grans.... I think that one is an ace deal, but for some reason it hasn't even been half as popular as this deal. http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/mum-gran-get-free-worth-18-25-get-a-free-cupcake-mother-s-day-march-6th-2016-eden-2399852

I am not being grumpy. I point out discrimination. The next thing you will say it is acceptable for women to get free entry to night clubs and get a free drink and not men. Blatant sexism.
The next thing you will say women were getting pensions earlier than men and live longer and this is fair.
You will say is okay to have woman's say and not men day.
Your simply promote discrimination.

You are now putting words into people's mouths and are clearly looking to cause trouble.
You are doing nothing for the 'cause' you claim to support.
This is not a sexist post, and I have seen nothing sexist said.
PLEASE STOP TROLLING MY THREAD WITH YOUR AGENDA!

It seems you are blind. Women get free entry and not men.
This is clearly sexist.
You do not own this site and cannot tell others what to do.
You cannot shut down opposing views.
If you do not like comments, do not respond.
Surely you can work it out.

So blind people cannot understand whats being said then?.... Sounds a little ableist to me.
It's not sexist anymore than it is discriminating against people who don't have children.
It is a Mother's Day deal, and they also offer a Father's Day deal so men and women are being treated as equally as each other.
I clearly don't own this site, but this is my thread and everything that is said comes directly into my inbox, so when I see someone clearly goading people into a response I will say something.
You say I cannot shut down opposing views, and I don't believe I have. I let you say exactly what you wanted in this thread, and I only took objection when you started putting words into people's mouths in a clear attempt to draw out an argument.... this is trolling and I won't sit by and see it happening within my thread without calling you out on it.
This is thread is nothing to do with nightclubs and free drinks.
The state pension age disparity is another issue that has nothing to do with this thread, and as far as I know that is an issue that has already been addressed by society; in so much that from 2020, both men and women's state pension age will be 66.
As for women living longer than men not being fair.... are you for real? Blame your biology and lifestyle for that one!
As for the bit about women say and men day... I have no clue what your talking about.
Then you say I am promoting discrimation...... (*sighs*) Really? Am I?
There was me just thinking I was listing a deal for a family day out that would let mums in for free on their 'special' day of the year.
Opening post
I hope this is in the correct section... it's kind of a freebie and kind of a deal :o)
