Thought this seemed an excellent price for one of these, great reviews across the net too. We had angelcare monitors for my youngest two, but tbh, it didn't really give as much peace of mind as I hoped, I still checked them constantly & poked them to make sure they were breathing, maybe having one of these would've stopped the prodding & given them better quality sleep.

Thanks OP , I got the mbp18 last month when it was going cheap on Amazon, anyone know if this one is better? Worth the extra £20 to send it back for this one?

I have a different Motorola one and it was quite a lot more expensive than this. For my wife and me it was much much much better having a video as opposed to just audio.
You mentioned having angelcare monitors that didn't give you peace of mind..What makes this better then? I'd imagine a sensor pad gives you more reassurance ? Read some bad reviews about batteries on motorola monitors giving up after 1-2 months

We have the Foscam equivalent. Fantastic but you can't take it to friends houses.
