I have this phone and although a bit unstable at times it is excellent, and of course the best Windows Mobile phone you can buy (along with the XL). Released at £430 it's already down to £380.

Massive flop, nobody seems to want a Windows Phone anymore last sales figures Inc cheap as chips models were a joke and having had Windows 10 since launch I'm not surprised either,
Anyone spending this sort of money on a Windows phone needs to give their head a good shake, shockingly bad App support and users hang on to the hope that vaporware is going to actually arrive - why bother, buy something that it's already on!

yeah, I trailed the Lumia 640 as prelude to the 950 to see if I could go WP.
I love the OS, its my fav above android and iOS, but the app gap can be crippling.
Not helped by Google's belligerent diverting WP users to the web page for Google android app, instead of Google website you tried to visit.
Get a Mozo backplate and this is a really nice phone, not sure I'd drop £380 without seeing how W10 runs on it though.

Insider Preview (Fast) makes this phone v.stable apparently.
Great camera, v.v.fast performance, the unique continuum feature, and some high quality UWP apps coming through.
Add in a whole raft of new phone manufacturer's supporting Windows Phone, (including Xiaomi), & the future may not be quite so bleak for Windows Phone.
(The Lumia 550 is also a very nice phone - but ONLY when updated via Insider Preview. The release software is woeful. I couldn't install any apps, or update the phone software. Only the Microsoft Device Restore software could fix it!)

I'm on slow ring but might try fast ring. Is there a reason you specified fast ring? I love some of the MSN apps now, and the multiscreen view on emails is brilliant.

£307 from Flubit, £315 from Amazon (although this is a marketplace seller) for the black. This is just for people if they are looking for alternatives.
Shows the cheapest marketplace seller has not dropped below £381.01, and after Flubit'ing this a few days ago, the price came back at £365 odd.

I have tried to be loyal but starting to look elsewhere. MS had a lot of good apps of their own and they've trashed them. The MSN Health & Fitness app was replaced by something else that only works with Microsoft Band, they've ditched Lumia Camera so the live pictures don't work anymore. It goes on. No wonder people are ditching them. Shame as I really don't get on with Android but I will just have to bit the bullet and get used to it.

Live pictures work just fine on Win10M.

I have been loyal to WP since WM 6.5 and threw in the towel 2 months ago when I saw the state WP for heading towards, I sold my 1520 for £150 and bought a OnePlus One for £150 so a straight swap essentially. I really miss the UI of WP and even made Android look a feel a little bit like it but it will never be the same.

It is a shame. I too have been with them since 6.5
Windows Phone 8.1 is probably as good as it gets now, for features and 'gap gap', now with Windows 10 Mobile, it feels like they're going another step backwards.
Bluetooth AVRCP for example, works great in 8.1 updated. W10m, it's like they forgot they've moved forward since Mango and now it's right back to where they were 4 years ago, but with the exception of Windows 10 universal app.
I am *this* close to just leave WP despite it's smooth UI (when W10m isn't playing up), handset quality from the Nokia's legacy and Cortana.
To keep getting a "throw back" everytime the OS number increases and having better MS Apps in Android/iOS than native (except Cortana). I can only 'fan boy' this much after years of support.

To be frank, this happens when i try to access Gmail via Chrome on my Galaxy S5 instead of using the app. It's annoying and, on occasions, i like to use the web version rather than the app.

Fast Ring gets the most up to date Updates from the Preview. Can be unstable.
Slow Ring gets the most stable Update from the Fast Ring releases.
