You're right, HD is High Definition so technically it isn't a resolution altogether. At about £15 I wouldn't complain.

Seeing how SD is / was 576 lines, and 720 is a bigger number than 576, I think 720 can accurately be described as HD.

720 is HD... Not full HD but by the official definition as it stands currently its still HD.

Uhm...Techincally, 720p is considered HD and 1080p is know as full HD. :wink:
