I did well with last year's purchases, particularly the "seed tape" carrots
If you have a difficult soil (for growing veg in particular) the more expensive Premium Selection (Seed tapes or seed discs) could be a reasonably priced solution - especially at £1 (Multi buy)
Lidl had a full selection of varieties at first last year but the stock was quickly diminished so if you know what you require it's best to purchase early
