Disappointing deals, only a fraction less than usual and don't like celery. Wen't to my local last week and the state of the fruit and veg was awful, some of it was rotten, not in stock or badly bruised or limp and yellow, so couldn't buy. Hoping they pull their socks up and get it together.

I'm not a great fan either - but it makes great soup.

They lost their opportunity to entice me over from marks or waitrose. Long wait at till because of price query with person before me, no hello let alone apology for long delay. Then I get home and find veg is rotten. Well worth paying the extra at marks and waitrose!

thanks for posting. always good to know what's coming up. the rocket deal this week was disappointing. all unrefrigerated in my store and best before the following day (on second day of the offer). then out of stock today (last day of the offer). Bring back half price weekend deals!

This is the 3rd weekend they haven't done them, they have replaced it with these lower priced weekly offers :disappointed:

Stopped and they seem to have weekly offers giving around 30% off all week, rather than 50% off on weekends only. Now called 'Pick of the week'.
This weeks include:
Pork medallions - 300g £1.99
Chicken breast fillets - 540g £2.29
Haddock fillets - 250g £1.99
Lamb shanks (in gravy) - 450g £1.99
(these can differ from location, location)
More Aldi style I suppose?
The pork medallions are good though and from their higher end 'Deluxe' range.

yes weekend half price deals have been stopped.
For those moaning about queues and poor quality f+v. these are focus areas in store currently so if your store isn't performing in these areas then flag it to the Freephone customer help line

well, well, you put "delux" on the box and everyone believes it must be special  oh, and as its more expensive it must be special....regardless of water Lidl adds to its raw meat - puddles of it could be seen through packaging - and does not declare it in the product content. Next they will be telling us that water comes natural with meat ( ? even if while cooking that water turns into a white, gelly like gunge !?)

celery and tomatoes - I now give them a miss as they hardly taste of what they suppose to be
Opening post
Celery - pack
Onions - 1kg
Baby Plum Tomatoes - 250g (the fruit I suppose)
Iceberg Lettuce - each
Not too bad, but the iceberg may be cheaper with the next batch of Shopitize offers.
