Almost 50% off RRP has to be good for a good Lego set

True. I think I'll spend £30 more and get myself a box that doesn't have a slight crease. Will make a great addition to my other display of boxes, the lego normally gets dumped in the bin.

Shame they don't have the regular 1000 points for a £50 spend, it might be worth ebaying them then! At the moment it sells for up to £70 so not worth the hassle.

FRIENDS sets are not work investing in as it's now the "CITY" theme for girls. New sets are now produced in such quantity and similarity to before that it's best left alone. The only money I made was Xmas 2013 when Argos had Dolphin Cruisers at 3-for-3 (worked out at £29.99 each) where I sold 18 at £70+ in 3 days!

£79.99 at Smyths this morning. Only thing stopping me buying one from Tesco is that I know that the box will be damaged, given that it will be chucked around the warehouse, thrown into crates as it is done at Argo.

I agree, Argos is by far the worse. Not only do they ship in bin-liners, the sets are often resealed and covered in catalogue number stickers. Tesco is OK if you click/collect as you can reject on the spot if there's a speck of dust on the box.
