If you qualify for brand guarantee depending on your other purchases then that's definitely another option...

Generally Kellogg's versions have THE highest sugar content in them. Check for the supermarket own version in each case - they're lower in sugar AND salt. And taste pretty much the same (the decent supermarkets obviously - rule out the rancid crap that Aldi and Lidl sell). And are of course cheaper too.

I loked at them today - they have a higher than normal sugar.
The best for low sugar content are Shredded wheat and Weatabix.

Which cereals are high in fibre apart from all bran? I never see it in the smaller shops.

Agreed - but compare them to Corn flakes, All Bran etc - no fruit in those - but higher sugar content.

Then I would suggest you try their version of Kellogg's Krave called....ahem.."Kraze". Tasteless, vile outer cereal...stuff, containing no more than a pinhead's worth of chocolate in the middle. Oh yeah but "it's like branded stuff only cheaper!" Pfff yeah right.

Hope this deal is useful to some of you who... :)
