Ok, I know this has isn't exactly a new release but I've been wanting to replace my DVD version for some time but it always seemed a bit pricey wherever I looked. It may work out cheaper if bought as a part of a box set but if, like me, you already own the other Iron Man movies on Blu-ray, this is quite a cheap option.

It does hold its value well this film, probably because the other 2 aren't so good. This looks like the single disc release. They also did a 2 disc 'Ultimate Edition' with a load of extras

Thanks for posting those details, wiggywig. I already own the 2 disc 'ultimate edition' DVD set (that's packaged in an Iron Man helmet-shaped DVD case) which includes all those extras; personally, I didn't want to shell out for the same extras again.

The disc arrived yesterday and was sealed in cellophane, as you'd expect a new disc to be (although I suppose it could have been re-sealed). There was a crack in the case that probably happened in transit but it'll never be seen as it's behind the sleeve. It does look brand new. I'll test the disc but I'm happy with the purchase, although packaging could be a bit better.
