Robust and exceptionally quick, and at a great price. Heat.

7day products are good, but they do filter out negative customer reviews (unlike Amazon).

I've found Grixx to live up to its reputation for speed and reliability and well worth breaking out of the comfort zone of Amazon shopping to acquire, especially at this price

I have 2 128gb and they are brilliant. They can get hot to touch.

I've voted hot on this and I have one, but it's definitely the slowest usb I've got by far. And my radio and bluray players won't recognise it to play stuff on.

I have two 128GB and found them to be great, although they do feel hotter to the touch than I'd like (they are metal though, so will conduct heat to the outside faster). I bought a third recently, but found it dead on arrival. 7dayshop paid for return postage label and refunded me within 4 days. I have found these to be compatible with my Samsung Smart TV, PC and router - which is more than I can say for MyMemory Red drives.

I've found my mymemory red drives particular argumentative with USB2 none PC devices, but once plugged into a USB socket extension worked fine, weird, and I guess mileage would vary.
The latest red drives are faster and cooler than the Grixx, which frankly is scarily hot to touch after a long transfer, plus I found mine would slow down periodically, at first I thought this was it overheating, but it happens at any temperature, what it boils down to is slower transfers than the headline speed would indicate, but incredibly good benchmark scores.
Since both my oldest mymemory and Grixx drives are over a year old, both bought within days of each other, I wouldn't like to choose between them for reliability, and now the reds are fast, there's pretty much no differentiator.

I've had two of these for a while. Very fast write speed (the most important measure for many). Highly recommended - and heated.
@Quids - have you tried formatting them to FAT32 as well as NTFS?

DAMN! I promise you I've already formatted the darn thing TWICE - first thing I did - but I've just done it again and now it's working! Although it did take two goes before it would play anything.
Thanks. Tbh, I'd actually given up on it and bought the Samsung and Kingston 64 & 128's on here recently.
Cheers.
