Similar looking bench I bought from JAGO24 @ Amazon for £39 .Just an alternative if you'd rather spend the difference towards cast iron weights instead.
I am 16 stone and about 44" chest. Its very sturdy but the bench seat is a little narrow if you are a bit wide but It does me just fine.
50kg is fine and ample for intermediate or endurance trainers, who do full reps.

50kg is perfectly suitable for someone starting out. decent price for bench and weights. thanks for sharing

I would completely disagree. After 6 months you will find this so easy and it will never be used again. Invest into something that can be used more long term.

Have some heat , we all started somewhere  , but would buy the adidas one at the bottom of the page if I were starting out again as it has preacher and leg attachments and about the same weight (45kgs)...... for the same price........
Pretty much what I started on 30 odd years ago  and IIRC I dont think I could bench 20kg back in those days

Is this iron? You're right it's best to buy second hand if it's iron that is.

I'm sure all of these anterior dominant individuals favourite question is "how much do you bench" oh how the uneducated rate themselves. Pull your head out of your butt, and stop working bench and biceps every workout!

Complete waste of money for most because they probably wont be using it at all after 6 months so bad advise imo.

I'm fairly sure the average adult can bench 50-60? At least after a very short term or training which makes this pretty useless if recommend against buying it...

These people saying this is useless obviously don't know that these can be used for more than just benching. But for any starter, I'd suggest these are ideal, starting small weights, twice a week after work over 6/7 months then you'd move up weights for sure. But slowly and steady and you'll achieve goals. Don't be deterred

did anyone buy this ? do you know how wide it is ? is the measurement on the site the width of the bench with the weights on ? the room I could fit it in is only about 130 wide, got a feeling the bar would be longer than that
