Was £16, then £10 and now £7.50.
Found this in my local Asda at Stamford Hill, I don't know whether it is national or not.

Great price but i bet its not brilliant white.
Used some recently and it was more of a cream color apparently changed the formula

Is this the waterbased paint as opposed to the oilbased?

What's the difference? Which is better?

It's emulsion so it's water based. Great price!

Does this paint need multiple coats?

it depends what you're painting over but you'll always need more than one coat for a proper result. I'm assuming the oil/water based question was in relation to gloss (trim) paints and possible yellowing, which doesn't apply to this type of paint. Hope this helps!

My comment was due to the fact that it said paint in the title so I assumed it was for doors, skirting boards etc. However I have now had a better look at the pic and it says for walls and ceilings so it is actually emulsion.
