Good pre-order price. With physical at least it can be returned if the port turns out like DS1. Just look at a few reports before you open it :P

I'll wait for release to see what the PC port is like, but even without the 10% code at £26.95, still cheaper than anywhere else (boxed retail or key only). Hopefully it will still be this price in April.

Dark souls 2 port was awesome, don't see why this would be any different. Also if you bought it on steam you could get a refund as well.... Still a hot deal. The port of the first one was poor and they said it would be. They ported it due to demand, but admitted they had no idea what they were doing. It was great they did it in the first place.

Will probably be fine, but after Arkham Knight I decided to wait for release for games now. Hopefully review embargos etc. will be a few days before release, but even if its the day of, I think it's worth waiting. Plus, worth pointing out that DS2 was basically a higher res, nicer textures version of a game built with the PS3/360 in mind, so not that difficult to run. A reason why it was 60fps when it made its way to PS4/XB1, whereas Bloodbourne which was built for PS4 was prettier but at 30fps.

It was really good apart from the durability being tied to frame rate causing weapons to break twice as fast. It was even in the release ps4/xone versions. Over a year to get fixed.

To be honest, I doubt it would have ever been fixed if they never released the PS4/XB1 ports...

Weap dura wasnt that much of a big deal. Only really effected people who used heavy aoe spam attacks all the time.
Ive played scholar and day 1 ds2 both very special games. Ds2 release will always be one of my best games of all time. The fact everyone was on summoning took seconds and was so much fun cooping.
Ds3 should be amazing and 25 quid is cool. Xcom 2 shot up in price closer to release so if you want this get it preordered now

Pity this isn't digital, still a good price for people who use physical copies.

it'll come with a digital code in the box anyway so you can throw the box and disk away if you want :stuck_out_tongue: All physical games come with steam keys these days.

I'm assuming there isn't a way to get this internationally(from South Africa) without it ending up more expensive than the game on steam?

Hello, I just tried using the DEADCOOL code but the website said it was not valid. Do these things have an expiry date/minimum number of uses?
Thanks,
Alex

I pre-ordered dark souls 3 from gamecollection with the code, but last Friday they emailed me that the physical copy was not available and asked me to choose between canceling the order or accepting a digital copy. Anyone have similar problem with the preorder with gamecollection?
