These are 300g packs, sliced in 10's. I do wish Costco would specify these as 8 rashers per pack from the supplier because with 10, they are nearly always too thin. But a great price anyway, picked up this deal earlier on in the week.

"Rashers".
Rashes are something entirely different.

Sorry have bought these in the past if they are the "Direct brand bacon" Smoked Danish back bacon it actually says on label with added water so yes the pan is a white mess when cooking there are better quality options in Costco

They are the direct brand, but I have the unsmoked, not sure if that will make a difference

I buy the catering pack from Costco and bag and freeze it, decent thick rashers, think it's 2.2 kilos but can't remember the price. Might be just Scottish costco's as its robertsons of Ayrshire. I've tried the Danish, but prefer the thicker cut of the catering pack - and it's not too fatty like some of the cheaper bacon.

My local butcher is pretty sure Danish brand bacon is actually UK Pork they import, water inject, then cured on the way back to the UK. Pretty much the worst quality Bacon you can buy. But if that's your preference, a deal.
