Just researched my question because I was contemplating a purchase.
This is not the Cosmos Brewery version but a brewed under license version.

It makes me laugh when you get famous beers brewed in the UK. I don't care if you use the same strain of hops, barley or wheat it can never taste the same. This is not even a good beer, the expats call it elephant pi**.

Cobra the same, used to be 6.4% now about 4.8%, it is an insult to all of Britain what these far eastern beer companies are doing.

Cobra is made by a British company. Nasty beer though, like a lot of this 'premium' crap where the bottom line is the main consideration.

Is Stella Artois now down to 4.8% where it used to be 5.2%? Also the bottle contents are getting less - down to 300ml and 660 now 600ml in some brands. Picked up some Napolina tinned Tomato's yesterday - now 400g in a tin - used to be 440g.????Keep an eye on the shopkeepers.....

Yeah but its got an exotic name so there's plenty of sheeple who will buy it and convince themselves its great beer when it's tasteless p@@s.

The stuff in Thailand is powerful stuff, was told it hasn't got an adverised ABV over there as it was different in every batch. Too strong for me had to stay with the Singha!
