My grandmother wore this, my mum wears it all the time, and now my girl wears it. I have spent my life around this smell so much I have become immune to it. Funnily enough I smell of in the office and get made fun of.

Soon enough there will be no true greats left, nearly everything I bought in the last few years is just a shadow of its former self due to ingredients being removed and changed to not bother people with allergies etc. Barely any modern versions of old fragrances smell like they used to.

Sorry Catsy but the Amazon comparison is utter rubbish. The RRP is £49 for Chanel No.5 35ML version of Eau De Perfum. Concerning the offer, this is technically an offer but Debenhams, Boots, John Lewis offer a 10% discount to perfume at most festive and religious occasions. Also you can get points and vouchers at Boots if you're shrewd and know when to purchase the perfume. Furthermore the Perfume Shop offers occasionally offer 15-20% discount on Chanel.

I think if you really want this perfume at a really good price and want the real thing then
Buy it at xmas. Last year with all the vouchers and offers on the premium range at boots
I picked up a 100ml of Chanel chance EDT for £55
