You don't really need to buy anything. Go old Skool!
Just use an old pair of socks, random buttons and something like shredded cloth for inside.
There are loads of tutorials on youtube.
We used to make these nearly 40 years ago... sock hand puppets were fun too.... and easier.
Even now I still can't help putting my hand in my holey socks before I throw them away.......
but of course I've chased the dog around the room with the sock monster before they get to the bin :laughing:

lol point totally taken :laughing:...... for a present; old holey socks might not bring the desired smile to her face.
Still if you had the chance another time you could make them together with a pair of her old socks (or even poundshop socks)... kids socks are always more colourful than adults.
That said, I still buy jolly/glittery coloured socks when I can; because I remember how much I enjoyed wearing them as a kid. :smile:
