Does anyone else have the problem with cheese once you open it, it manages to get mould on it even if you dont touch it with wet hands and seal it back asap , end up having to bin the whole block

Take it back - doubt they'll refuse provided it's in date. Works for me.

I don't tend to get mold but if you left it out after a while it used to smell like gouda and was oily.
But I have now been converted to Waitrose essentials chesse. 4 strengths from mild to extra mature. Good thing is though they always have it on offer.
Best recent deal was 1.1kg for £ 4.50.

Your fridge not got mold? Mold from other things can spread pretty easy even if its small!!

Think they are store specific as dated end of march 2016
