You'd be much better off with a tent. This is merely a sandwich maker and would offer very little protection from the elements.

These are not that bad. I got one (paid £20 in black friday) & it makes a quick easy extremely hot breakfast. Ideal for a camper van, etc, student house, or even in work, etc.
All you can really use it for is Egg & to melt cheese though.
