Found at Tesco Extra Eston, Middlesbrough with a yellow label. Not sure if this means it might be available at this price elsewhere. Currently £70 on Amazon.

Good company, no hassle warranty parts - but the lid/catch are a nightmare and continuously break.

We've got it in the office, so constant use and it's absolutely fine. However tad annoying as it opens each time anyone walks by

Those ones are touch bin, you have to physically push the top for it to open/close.
It does not have a sensor. It will not open by itself.

It was £27.5 on amazon before Christmas with quite few colours at that price.
I told other people that it was a good deal.
People laughed at me. They have no idea of Brabantia, and price for quality bin.
I paid over £100 for my 50L one few years back.
I always dislike those cheap plastic bins from Argos. I will never go back to those.

If you are unfortunate enough to live in Middlesbrough you need cheap bins. I lived there for 9 years... not sure why I stayed around so long.

Heat added as excellent price. But as a user of a sensor bin (working reliably for several months but bought from amazon due to their superb CS/hassle free returns) I wouldn't go back to non-sensor now as they are genuinely useful and don't involve physically touching a bin which by its very nature will probably be covered in bacteria.

Great size bin. We have had ours a few years now but the push top broke 1 year ago which means that we have to lift the lid off to put things in. We also paid double this price at the time. We would buy one again.
If it's out of warranty but it's just the catch that's broken, you pick them up for a couple of quid on eBay

Especially those in the habit of touching dirty bins. :stuck_out_tongue:
