Was in Fopp today and noticed they had loads of Blu-rays including recent-ish releases and collectors' editions at better prices than Amazon et al. I'm assuming these are all nationwide.
Ones which seemed like particular bargains to me were:
Birdman - £6
Interstellar - £6
Edge of Tomorrow - £6
Girl With the Dragon Tattoo Trilogy (theatrical cuts) - £6
Whiplash - £6
Foxcatcher - £6
Mulholland Drive Ltd Ed digibook - £6
Lawrence of Arabia 50th anniversary edition - £6
Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter steelbook - £6
Nymphomaniac I&II - £6
The Prestige - £6
American Psycho 15th Anniversary Edition - £6
Planet of the Apes 5 film collection - £6
They also had the Indiana Jones collection for £13, and... Back to the Future Flux Capacitor Edition for £30! Ok, whether the latter is a bargain is debatable but it was over £70 on Amazon when I looked.
Anyway, hope this helps somebody somewhere. There were loads of others for £3 and £6 that might appeal to some people, too many to list plus I had to just buy American Psycho and leave before I ended up bankrupting myself :(

Fopp is wonderful. Picked up Looper and the Blue Velvet special edition Blu-Rays myself the other day here in Nottingham. Staff always friendly and knowledgeable, too, so I always feel good buying from them instead of online retailers. Have some heat!

I though Fopp went under years ago when HMV did. Certainly the Newcastle store closed around that time.
Some good deals there have some heat

Also as a bonus they aren't tax dodging slave drivers... Unlike amazon.co.uk :man:

In the London Covent Garden store, you could also get "It Follows" on blu for £5 with any purchase. Great film so bit of a bargain. Would presume it'd be the same in other stores.

Probably, I remember seeing a few like that. They had quite a few horror ones for £3 too, Insidious and The Crazies being ones I remember. Didn't include them in the list as I still think £3 is too much for The Crazies but I guess some people might like them :stuck_out_tongue:

Picked up a few from the Covent Garden store, including Birdman. Great blu ray collection and amazing prices. Lots of world cinema, special focus on Coen Brothers etc
