i've had a blaupunkt 3d telly for a few years and they're fine - the one downside is the on-board speakers are horrible.
you really do need to hook the tv up to an external sound source for any kind of decent sound quality

Fine set, got mine with 5 years parts and labour warranty from Tesco's few month s ago. Yes, the sound (like most flat screens) is excreable, luckily I have a home cinema set-up so no problem.
