end of line @ £19.97 but scans @ £9.97, was the last one in a London store. Everywhere else at over £40. Had London scanned for stock but there is not any more stock. You might be lucky somewhere else around the country. This is the product code: 0000123971

great price. can also get comfast ones from ebay for around the same price
I got one of these for 20 quid a couple of months ago and it's going back. It keeps dropping the connection and this seems to be a common problem even with third party drivers installed.
Is this one on eBay for 8 quid likely to be any good?
Same problem connecting to my Virgin Home Hub and Asus router

Has any body tried changing their router's wi-fi channel?
Or on the items own settings there is likely to be a power option like idle disconect

I got one off eBay that works with the raspbian and windows 10 recently for about 1.98 delivered I think. It picks up the signal from my crappy router pretty well throughout my flat.
What is the benefit of buying this thing other than if you need the extra bands. I think the one I bought was wireless n. This one seems very expensive in comparison.

with yours you might be stuck to an unreliable connection at no more than 30mbps speed if you lucky, this one guaranteed and tested can go to 200mbps with my virgin media, also through few plaster board walls. Obviously bound to my max internet speed otherwise could do a lot more.
My question to you is, why many of us do want a Ferrari even so we do not need it??

I'll admit the speed does drop a bit but only when in my bedroom. There is a corridor before it but it's a jackknife bend so the signal kind of has to travel through three solid walls.
The speed is very good if in the same room though obviously. As good as my onboard laptop WiFi anyway.
I'll do a few speed tests later anyway.

Work with the same speed as on a Ethernet. I get 55MB with talktalk over wifi, and also around 500MB with NAS Ds215j reading/writing over wifi.
