Seems like a really good price with decent performance figures, as posted by reviewers on amazon (which is currently selling for £38).
Some perf stats as advertised (using ATTO)...
Read: Up to 560MB/s
Write: Up to 410MB/s
Maximum 4K random R/W IOPS: 60K/70K

This product I've used its write speed is very slow, compared to other SSD products

Most reviewers are posting really good speeds, while 1 or 2 others report the same as you - perhaps it's down to the sata controller / motherboard?
Nonetheless, still a really good upgrade over a mechanical disk, especially due to the access time of 0.13ms, compared with a conventional disk at over 9ms!
Of course, if you have money to spend, then sure, the Samsung SSD's are the best in class, but the 120gb Samsung 850 Evo is £55.

Interestingly, and quite surprising (for me anyway), this drive performs better in both sequential and random read/write speeds as compared to the wildly popular Samsung 830 and 840 Pro.
I realise they're over 3/4 years old, but it just goes to show how far even basic/value drives such as this have come, and our expectations of speed.
Good review here, stating it's good value. Heat from me

Guys, my windows 7 is ona hidden recovery partition on my hdd on laptop. I want to install this to run Windows and put the hdd in the dvd slot. How will I install Windows from my hdd to this one?

You will have an install partition possibly, plus your installed Windows. That's how some machines ship anyway. I use Acronis trueimage to clone the drive and it downsizes partitions to fit smaller SSDs.
Perhaps others can recommend what they use.
It is usually fairly automatic these days if u use the right software

I would also recommend the same as "thekanester", cloning would be the easiest, hassle-free, and time-saving method.
A few days ago, I used Partition Wizard (free) (as part of Hiren's boot cd) to copy my old hdd to the new one, which worked brilliantly. I recommend using a boot/live cd like Hiren's (which comes with Mini-XP), so no files are being used on your primary hard drive during the copy/clone operation.

Download the Windows 7 ISO from Microsoft and put it on a USB stick. Much better add you get a clean install without any of the manufacturer bloatware.

The review I read earlier said that it was not as good for the price/performance as the Samsung SSDs. I think it was on the conclusion of the Toms Hardware one. I guess at sale price it maybe worthwhile that said prices are dropping all the time on SSDs.

Nothing is as good as the Samsung SSD's, after-all, they make their own drive, controller chips, dram chips, and nand chips! So it's not really fair to compare a budget drive to a top-of-the-range, but as I said earlier, if you have money to spend, then Samsung's 850 is the obvious choice

The Samsung 850 EVOs do seem to be the best choice out there, but are more expensive. Also, I'm still scarred by their total failure with the 840 EVO slowdown bug that just rolled and rolled on, with endless "fixes" that just covered up the problem. I RMA'd that drive, and I know this bug doesn't affect the newer 850, but still...

An ebuyer weekly deal which should expire at the end of 26/02/16. This deal also includes from ebuyer the bracket needed to attach the 2.5 inch hard drive inside a PC tower if it isn't being used in a laptop computer.
The drive has been reviewed on line and although not the best has some impressive attributes. There is no mystery as to what controller or chips are being used in this instance. A-data's website, a three year warranty, a smart looking dashboard programme to monitor the drive and access to Acronis software is also all very useful.
This particular drive when reviewed a few months back was also, I believe, being retailed at $60 USD, the equivalent of £43 GBP.
It is not particularly suited to writing large amounts of data to but it should be an o.k. SSD hard drive for the operating system and your essential programmes for the next three years or more.
