How strong are they? I buy lidls and they are very strong. Can't bear it when they split open.

They are not bad quality. Only 45 l I recall. In my own opinion better quality than Tesco value black refuse sacks. Not the strongest, but okay especially for 17p. Probably about the same as those clear produce bags you pick up in the aisles

Since supermarket have stopped giving carrier bags I need to buy these

Just picked up some of these today in Asda, Kingsway (the one with all the traffic lights). I'm having a clear out so these will come in very useful.
