Looks good to me, decent specs for such a machine, shame it is not 13.3, 11.6 is, at least for me, too small to be used as proper laptop.

To be honest 12.5" would be enough, far better than 11.6".

What's the actual speeds of the m.2 drive. Some were not as quick as SSD drives.

It has a sata m.2 ssd. No pcie support. Mine has a Samsung PM871 drive in it. Not the best, but not bad.

Any users care to comment on battery life? How does this compare to the M-5Y10c processor as refurbished can be had for £340ish.

Battery life is pretty good. It has a 5270mAh battery. According to reviews the Skylake core M is apparently worth getting over the Broadwell generation. I haven't used both though.
Nice alternative if you have something to trade in (and act quickly!).

I like Lenovo stuff but to me this isn't much better than my 6 year old Compaq netbook 311 with SSD upgrade - and that was only £250. Lenovo has FULL HD as opposed to HD on the Compaq but who needs Full HD on 11.6 inch screen? You'll barely be able to read anything with really tiny fonts.

I got one of these before Xmas for £530. Battery life is 6-7 hours, so good but not excellent. The screen is really nice. I disagree that 1080p isn't any use, I had a Asus Transformer T100 before this which was only 768p and I was always finding lack of on-screen text annoying. This is just about right. Anything less than 1080p just drives me up the wall nowdays!
I still don't see the point of these as 'all-in-one' devices. My old T100 (which was only 10" with detachable keyboard) was too unwieldy as a tablet. This is definitely too large. However, as a portable laptop (which is the only reason I bought it), it's great and I thoroughly recommend it.

Someone on another Thread (last week I think it was?), commented in relation to these Sata M.2 SSD Drives.
If I recall well, Sata M.2 SSD's are physically smaller than regular SSD Hard Drives right?, &/or run quicker?, or something ...
Or am I Barking up the wrong tree?, thanx. :-)

For a giant Tablet, or a very mini Laptop, the price of this seems a wee bit excessive!, or is that just me?.
Considering you could knock together yourself an ASUS Transformer 10" Tablet WITH an included 500GB Keyboard Docking Bay for about half the price of the OP's Deal selling point ... or am I thinking out aloud too much?. :-)

What did you put in? Did you get much of a performance boost?

The faster write speed was good, it booted up about the same, but not having any of the Lenovo bloat on a fresh install of Windows 10 was much nicer.
also OPTIONS20 for other items on the site.
hope it helps someone.
never posted a deal of my own yet, so slightly hijacking this one!
