Splatter enemies and claim your turf as the ink-spewing, squid-like characters called Inklings in Nintendo’s new third-person action shooter Splatoon for the Wii U console. Challenge your friends in chaotic four-on-four matches, in which the goal is to get your ink on as many places as possible and claim your turf, all while strategically submerging yourself in your team’s colors and blasting your enemies. This is a colorful and chaotic online third-person action shooter – exclusively on Wii U.

Good price for a really fun and unique game. There is so much charm to this title that if you own a wii u you owe it to yourself to pick this up. It's very newbie friendly as the rules and mechanics are very simple to get to grips with and even a novice can contribute heavily to the team. Servers and netcode is top notch with no noticeable lag when playing with people from all over the world.

lol mate there is lag/latency in the game but its not that bad but it is fairly apparent for things like zooka and kraken.

Fantastic game, with dreadful local multiplayer limitations and bad controller options for playing.

Local co-op or anything like that?

great game.
Agree with the local multiplayer comment. Would be great to be able to have a 4 player split screen local game or have 4 local players take on an online team.
My 9 year old loves it.

Game of the Year 2015 for me. So much fun every time I play.
I find lag is dependent on the time of day I play. If I play when Europe is 'awake' lag isn't an issue as there are plenty of players online that are relatively close. If I play after 11pm when continental Europeans are going to sleep, I get matched up with lots more Japanese players and lag occurs more frequently; but not enough to have any major effect on match results.

I have never experienced lag in any 3DS or Wii U games I have played online. The Eshop is however painfully slow to use!

Wait, you've not played Smash Wii U? That tends to be laggy at times.

Local multiplayer is about shooting balloons. Fun.
