It can be unlocked. There is no such thing as an unlockable phone. Just needs the right kit.

You are correct but most places quote £25 for over the air unlock and couldn't find anyone with the required hardware unlock dongle.

I challenge anyone to post a link to unlock this phone, I am getting the runaround from Vodafone trying to unlock this, even they cannot do it

I've emailed the ebay seller ( fonecarecodes) who i used to unlock my Vodafone smart first 6 successfully, and unfortunately he's unable to unlock this phone. :o(
