Great beer, also suitable for gluten intolerants because it's brewed from rice and hops.

Beer is good for a long time after sell by date. I've had Tsing Tao around a year out of date from my local market. No difference in taste.

They spoiled this by reducing the alcohol content to 4.8% - it's a different taste now.

Not as bad as some make out - does the business... Visited the brewery a couple of years ago. Didn't realise it was established by Germans until I saw the swastikas on early bottles in the museum :confused: The bar street next to the brewery is like the wild west - totally nuts - they'll fill a carrier bag for you if you want! Got so drunk & lost I had to phone the hotel to come & find me...:smile:
