This Tesco Value set of 3 carbon steel pans is a great addition to your collection of pots and pans. They are non-stick and feature aluminium discs on the base that allow the pans to heat quicker. The light hollow handles are made from heat resistant plastic, which makes them safe to hold straight after cooking. This set includes 16cm, 18cm and 20cm pans, all with lids and all are dishwasher safe

There should really be a disclaimer stating "except for scrambled eggs" for these "non-stick" saucepans, am yet to find any pot where scrambled egg does not stick, and I cook it on low heat with constant stirring. But still, HEAT

You need to add a bit of oil.

Funnily enough, made scrambled eggs this morning in one of the Tefal Provencal frying pans we bought from Tesco yesterday... and made fried eggs in the other. just a little drop of oil in both pans, nothing excessive but no stick at all. The deal was posted by someone else on here, and I would recommend them.
Made of a newly discovered material which is even thinner than Tesco economy binliners:-)

That sort of defeats the purpose of the healthy bite to eat though? Won't a bit of oil just make it more like an omelete? Can of course microwave scrambled egg, but that sticks to whatever you heat in too and egg is a bit rubbery for my liking.

This set now showing as OOS. Can probably still buy the pans individually.

I am revisiting this thread to dispell this myth of a little oil meaning no more scrambled egg stuck to messy pot bottom. I have tried it twice and my conclusions:-
- The scrambled egg texture is negatively changed by adding a little oil.
- The scrambled egg not surprisingly tastes a little oily.
- Undoubtedly it is less healthy.
- It does reduce pot stickage, however there is still plenty of pot stickage.
- The egg is not tasty or enjoyable to eat.
I don't see how it is possible, unless you are making some sort of omlete-come-scrambled egg by essentially making an omlete in a pot then stirring near the end.
I really wish it was that easy, and this myth of a fix were true, but dissapointed to report it is not.
