I'd wait for it to drop some more, it's supposed to be rather poor which is a shame as I was looking to buy this when it was released.

In terms of online does it play similar to FF: A Realm Reborn?

It's a tad complicated to explain, but this is basically a simulated MMO rather than an actual one :P
A very good price, but I really don't think this would be a good place to enter the franchise - the previous game should be pretty cheap on PSN if you're thinking of giving it a try. Or you could import the wonderfully translated Vita version from Asia...

It's slowly going cheaper, I got it at Christmas for £25
I've played it through the story and now just cleaning the trophies, it's basically a SoA interactive movie really, you get to explore a few limited islands, quite a lot of weapons and accessories for characters though. The art is great, but the PS2 graphics for the areas is quite a let down, and there's a lot of dialogue for this game.
The online play is pretty poor to be honest, I was expecting it to be more like Dragonball Xenoverse, with a local hub, and matchmaking for dungeons/quests, but you have to solely search for, and join a room where most other players just stand still but other people are helpful on there, plus it's fun to quest with others
If I knew what this game was like I'd of waited until the £15-£18 mark
Just to add to this, most the female characters can wear their Alfheim outfits, along with just a towel or bikini

The previous game is 15.99 but when I bought my copy of this I got a code for the first game and a steelbook
Edit
Should say it wasn't from game it was from grainger games

I would ask instore, as it's no longer listed on there website and when I bought it in store they thought it was just the standard edition, but if they tell you it comes with steelbook and DLC that's the one do get as the DLC is the first game which is 15.99 on the PSN store

even as an SAO fan, I'm going to wait till this drops and play it as a time waster.
