I thought they were really good. Unfortunately the microphone stopped working for me in 2 weeks so I returned it back to 7day shop. Not sure whether it was just a one-off but I needed something more reliable.

They were worth the money - but dont expect to be blown away.
Have not used the mic yet so cant comment on that tbh.

Why? They emulate surround sound. If they can advertise soundbars as 7.1 then there is no reason why they can't do the same for headphones.

Yeah, the 7.1 is emulated though software (so they say). Very good quality for the money, highly recommended. TheShadowWalker is correct though, there has been a few reviews on Amazon saying the same.

Doesn't mean anything, if it's not 7.1 (7 actual speakers) then it's not. They can 'claim' it's anything by calling it virtual, 20.1 maybe? It's a load of rubbish for advertising. Same goes for sound bars, they are 1.1 at best. If they sound good then great, these for example look good for money and comments suggest they are, but there still not 7.1, virtual or otherwise.
