I remember my parents paying around £300 for my Sega CD. There really were some great titles. Sonic CD, Final Fight, Sewer Shark, Night Trap and Mad Dog Mcree.

Sega CD? Did that go under your genesis? What "color" was it?

thanks buzz, going to pick up lost world and generations
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed for £3.74 represents incredible value.
For me, that game actually trumps Mario Kart!

Seconded.
I'm a long time Sega and (of course!) Sonic fan though I despair at the state of Sega these days, never has a such a promising company gone down the pan so badly. Sonic & All Stars Racing was one of the (very) few decent Sonic games in recent years. I think it shows Sonic suits a racing game style far better than the terrible 3D platformers he normally finds himself in.
Long overdue a sequel too, could do some amazing things with current gen hardware but he will probably just get saddled to another mediocre 3D platformer instead....
