​i am very annoyed! I bought it the day before it came down more.

EA have to hit 13 Million sold in this quarter

For some reason people would rather **** on it rather than give it a go. Truthfully it's a good game, good graphics, fun gameplay.

People are **** at the 'lack of content' and the amount the dlc costs. There's a lot planned an some free stuff as well.

Gamers are often way too self entitled when it comes to costs and fail to note that the cost of making these games is much higher than the cost of making say sonic, and they are still being charged similar figure or in some cases much less now ( I remember select SNES games costing £60+). If you take inflation into account a £35 1990 mega drive game should now retail for £100+. Knowing that gamers would never go for this and the rise of the second hand market, a new model for revenue needed to be developed with DLC. I get it I really do and would rather pay this premium to play a complete and compelling game that everyone turn to freemium / pay to win candy crush!

In short go buy it, play it have fun and don't listen to the haters who are complaining about a base game costing the same as a night in the pub despite having the potential to last hundreds of hours longer!

​agreed got about a week and a half worth of gameplay out of it to get all the achievements and rank 50 but I find the lack of content.....disturbing.

I am insane in the membrane about what's the best way to buy it too. With all due respect to Scar_HeadFace what do folk recommend to someone who actually wants to buy it ? Is both Standard and Deluxe really low on content ?

​Deluxe gives you a few weapons, one of which is a mean pistol. You unlock all of them by playing so if you don't mind waiting, it's a waste of time. I wouldn't buy it. Ultimate includes the season pass, I don't know what other extras you get though. If you're not sure how much you'll play it just get the standard version, you can always pick up the season pass later.

It was always known there was little to none single player in this game, so you have no come back there.
While I also complain that the games today are based a different pay system, you have to remember the costs of games before this. At my reckoning, we are paying about half the price for games that we should be paying.
The likes of Sonic for the SMS or Megadrive, were £40, or in the £30's if you were lucky.
We're still paying the same price for games (or less with internet shopping).

They needed to look for new ways of getting money from gamers, as too many games are now free/cheap and use other ways make up the price.

Also games really drop in price quickly, compared to how they used to.

I don't like it, but the world has moved on. Would you pay £80 for a std game? Well, you might, but most gamers wouldn't.

I've had my ps4 for 2 years now and I've been so disappointed with the crap this so called next gen is churning out .. not to say there isn't any decent games but between the definitive edition's and the destiny's oh and having to pay to play online and the fudging downloading content take an eternity some times i rather wish I'd just stuck with my ps3 ... hopefully they don't ruin uncharted 4 .. rant over :-)

It's not "haters" just disappointed customers who had high expectations for this game but EA ruined it. :disappointed:

I'm still hoping they'll release a patch to play NFS 2015 ofline.

Son bought it on the store last night for £36 I'm gutted for him as he assumed price would go up after sale

Same here. Played the beta so much thinking it'd be a little taster of the full game. Turns out it's pretty much the full retail release minus a few maps, characters and weapons! Ended up playing it for 4-5 hours and just can't be bothered any more.

Rainbow 6 came with my GPU and sold it. Ended up playing the free weekend and then buying it. Much more fun... the TK'ers and CoD run and gunners are annoying though :disappointed:

because there are never further reductions on the same items in retail shops....this happens very regularly

yes you require ps plus subscription to play this game.

no u don't I playing it at the moment n my plus ran out a week or so back but that being said there is no campaign so if u can't play without plus u basically stuck with a game u can't play​

Don't worry, they'll have BF2 and BF3 out in time for the next two movies, maybe after you've paid like £300 for all three + Premium you might have a complete game.
