Just a word of warning, over time, theses will end up pulling the hinges away for the door.
Would not recommend them.

install these on opposite side no pressure on hinges and works great.

This is what happens when you let a numpty loose with a drill!!
These are supposed to be installed on the other side of the door not the hinge side..Can't believe anyone would even attempt that..wow!

Have put these on my cupboards, work fine. You can take the mechanism out and dump the plastic holder then just drill a hole in the edge of the kitchen unit and push the mechanism in, works great.

Mine didn't work either. You need soft close hinges.
You can buy attachments that go on top of the hinge itself made by a company called Blum, they are really good and not much more than this deal, you do need to get 1 for each hinge ghats on the door.

They don't fit on most hinges though.
Blum add ons don't fit b and q hinges, wickes etc.
But if they do fit then they are a million times better than these.
